The Riverboat CD release party

On September 16 2008. Gibb Droll, Jeff Sipe, Keith Moseley and I played a 3 hour acoustic set on a river boat named “The Spirit of Fredericksburg” as we lazily cruised down the narrow section of the Rappahannock. 100 computer savvy people were in attendance as this show was announced only on the internet. The show started with somewhat a “listening room” vibe. Folks were sitting quietly and grooving as they sipped cocktails and watched the scenic sunset slip in and out from behind the trees. By the time the boat turned around, people were up and dancing and the boat was rocking (as hard as acoustic music can rock). On behalf of myself and the band, we would like to thank everyone who was in attendance as it was the coolest show we’ve ever done in Fredericksburg, or possibly ever. I hope I can make that boat a regular gig for myself in the future. However, it will be hard if not impossible to ever beat the energy of that performance. Keller Photos by: Melissa T. Colombo
