“I put this album out as a live documentation of the “More Than A Little” project, which I put together for a holiday run of shows in Virginia and North Carolina in 2012 (The Norva in Norfolk, The National in Richmond, and The Neighborhood Theatre in Charlotte). Living out a dream of having soulful female singers beside me, along with a ridiculously funky rhythm section this album showcases my inner funk and it is super fun for me to revisit. Four originals, and six covers ranging from obscure to familiar. It isn’t anything but a party.” – Kw
